The Church is the final manifestation of Gods’ establishment of his works through his servant Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.
It started as a missionary work at Kwara State, llorin after he had the call of God on the Sobi Mt at Kwara State, llorin, Nigeria in 1988.
In the same year he established the Group of Believers Ministry in Nigeria and later moved to Benin (Dahomey) in 1995. He returned to Ghana in 1997 and continued with "The Group of Believers Prayer Camp" which was inaugurated at Asiakwa his hometown in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Again he moved his mission to Cape Coast but left in 1999 to Côte d'Ivoire.
In Côte d'Ivoire he had a prophecy that the country would be plunged into political turmoil from December 1999. Whiles waiting for God’s direction, the voice reiterated that there would not be peace in Côte d’Ivoire for 15 years starting from 2000.
So in 2002, he returned to Ghana and settled at Obuasi in Ashanti Region where he established the Adom Prayer and Healing Camp till 2008 when he received God’s direction to move to the “Promise Land” Kumasi.
At Kumasi the Holy Spirit gave the direction for the establishment of the Believers Worship Centre (BWC). It was inaugurated on January 24th, 2010 at Anwomaso a suburb of Kumasi where we worshipped for two years under mango trees.
God through his mystery gave us a mighty mansion (The Temple of God) not built with any financial resources from members which is beyond the understanding of all who visited the Church located at Kenyase Adwumam ( Teacher Nkwanta) off Kumasi Airport- Buokurom, Antoa Road.
The first service was held on Sunday March 25th, 2012 and the testimony of God’s power continues to manifest service after service especially during Sundays and Wednesdays especially during the last Wednesday to Friday of the month healing and deliverance services which attract people all over the world.

That true worship of God which is in truth and in spirit with a mind absolutely free of association of life occurrences to witches and supernatural beings and loosing focus of our maker is eliminated from peoples’ mind.
The mission of the Church is to empower Believers to take full control of their lives through a direct worship and communication with the Lord Jesus Christ our God.
This is to eliminate the current system whereby worshippers depend solely on men of God as cult figures for solving all their problems forgetting they are just like themselves. As a result many have been impoverished through extortion as they seek for deliverance.
Believers are thus encouraged at BWC to seek the face of God at all times, in moments of sorrow and of joy for our God is the KING OF KINGS who art Jesus Christ.

- We believe in the Holy Trinity thus God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit which comprise our soul, body and spirit.
- We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and in his bodily resurrection.
- We believe in divine healing of Jesus Christ through miracles.
- We also believe that faith without works is dead as stated in James 2:14. We believe in salvation through Jesus Christ only.
Every occasion demands a mode of dressing as deem fit to suit such an occasion. The pagans have their way, unbelievers have theirs and so do believers. At Believers Worship Centre, which has been founded on the love of God, outward appearance or modes of dressing do count a lot. Women are to cover their hair as demanded of them in the Bible. They must also not wear trousers, short dresses or any dress which exposes parts of their bodies which are not in any way to be seen by any other person except their husbands.
Likewise should men not put on anything belonging to women. They must present themselves in a way which is far beyond worldly pleasures. All these come to focus our attention on the fact that, we must portray Christ in our bodies, actions and inactions and glorify Him in our bodies.
This is what is expected of every Believer.
May the good Lord crown it with success.
